Airstrikes continued in Beirut today, and Hezbollah fired a rocket into a building in an Israeli government railroad yard in southern Lebanon, which killed eight and left many more wounded. According to the Israeli minister of transportation, Shaul Mafaz, Hezbollah did not use the kind of rocket that they normally use, a 120mm Katusha rocket. Instead, they used a 220mm rocket that they obtained from Syria over a year ago.

A note from Arlen: It’s becoming more and more apparent that Israel’s strategy is to isolate the entire country - by air, sea, and land:
-Israel destroyed Lebanon’s only international airport,
-Set up a naval blockade so no one can leave by water,
-Is working on destroying the highways that lead to Syria (so Hezbollah couldn’t recieve more weapons or support from Syria), and are bombing around the boarder of Lebanon.

He also said that 25,000 Americans are living in Lebanon. Earlier this week, the State Department urged Americans to leave Lebanon, but this is becoming increasingly difficult with Israel’s strategy to isolate the country.
