Earlier today, an Israeli missle killed 15 and wounded six in a southern port in Lebanon, and an Israeli aircraft bombed the Haret Hreik district (in southern Beirut), killing 12 and wounding 32. This is the forth day in a row that Israel has attacked Lebanon since the Lebanese Islamist group Hizbollah killed eight and captured two Lebanese soldiers on Wednesday. In the past four days, Israel has killed 93 Lebanese, 91 of which were civilians.

Update: As of late, a total of 106 people in Lebanon have been killed in the past four days, nearly all civilians. 15 Israelis have been killed (four civilians, 11 soldiers). After this latest attack on Lebanon, the Lebanon Prime Minister, Fouad Siniora called for an abrupt end to the killings:

“We call for an immediate ceasefire backed by the United Nations,” Siniora told a news conference in Beirut. “I declare today that Lebanon is a disaster zone in need of a comprehensive and speedy Arab plan … and (it) pleads to its friends in the world to rush to its aid.”
