The Daily Background

I wanted to apologize for yesterday’s lack of posting, I feel bad, and I hold myself to a higher standard.

A combination of things caused this, and I won’t get into all of them. Suffice to say that it was a combination of serious computer issues, and a personal matter which, although yet unresolved, has quieted down a little bit. At the moment I am not posting from my normal computer, although I am optimistic that I will be able to sooner rather than later.

As a side effect, I have no access to my RSS feeds, my Firefox bookmarks, my preferred text editor, or any of the tools I regularly use to blog from. This will make blogging quite a bit slower, and nobody’s more pissed about this than I.

I hope things will be back to normal soon, and I hope you’ll stick with me. Things really shouldn’t be out of whack for too long. In the meantime, I will try to post as often as possible. There are a lot of things going on in politics this week, and I’ll be watching things unfold, and writing about them.
