The Daily Background

This would actually mean something to us, if we had any idea of what the terms were. There’s of course a 90% chance that Iran won’t take the bait whatever the hell it is (as Secretary Rice knows). Of course, it’s kind of weird that they aren’t telling everybody on the face of the planet what the terms of the condition is, and playing it up like it’s some great amazing unrefusable offer. Maybe they know it’s actually a really weak and lame offer so they’re trying to keep the conditions secret so later on they can say all sorts of things were offered, regardless of the truth. Or maybe they just haven’t started their media blitz about this yet. Either way, it’s a bit odd, and worth noting.
