The Daily Background

Very late breaking news yesterday, apparently U.S. border patrol agents have shot a man to death at the border. He was driving an SUV and was going to enter Mexico at an official border crossing in San Diego. Apparently agents fired multiple shots through the drivers side window. Further details aren’t known. The crossing checkpoint has been closed temporarily. The AP wire has a bare bones story.
