Scott McClellan’s brother Mark (who works in the White House as Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator) wants to remind everyone in today’s edition of Ask the White House:

I just want to remind everyone about the upcoming March 15th deadline to enroll in the Medicare prescription drug benefit. If you need assistance, please call 1-800-MEDICARE or go to Medicare.gov.

The deadline is, of course, five days from now. Is it supposed to be a good sign when the Administrator of Medicare and Medicaid Services doesn’t even know when his own department’s deadline is? Hat tip, Eric Hanaoki of the Al Franken Show blog. Below is an absurdly serious photograph of Mark (or as he likes to be called, Dr Mark), surely trying to figure out what his location is. The man is that clueless.
