Yesterday, I mused about DeLay’s decision to send a pre-taped video out to news outlets, instead of doing what was expected of him (and earlier reported that he would do); a live press conference:
A videotaped speech will be handed to news outlets tomorrow morning, DeLay’s people are producing it and duplicating it right now. This is pretty cheap. Why isn’t he doing a real conference, and sending out a pre-edited videotape? We’ll see. Expect to see the tape all over the news tomorrow though.
Well, it turns out that the reason why DeLay opted for the pre-taped address was: …. he’s in pieces. The man is in pieces. Do not believe the spin about him getting excited to get out of politics and help foster children. That’s just something they made up at the last minute when they didn’t know how to spin any type of positive stuff into it. The man is in absolute pieces.
Crooks & Liars has, via CNN, a copy of DeLay’s pre-taped address, which was filmed last night (I believe). The man is in pieces. The speech is horrible, and he’s figitting with his hands the whole time, and his voice is quiverring and wavvering, and he’s nervous as hell. The man is in pieces.
