The Daily Background

The Senate is having NSA hearings today, headed by Specter. I don’t know if C-Span has live video or what, but it’s probably worth checking out their website. Apparently former Nixon aide John Dean is going to be there. There’s liveblogging of the hearings over at DKos. I wouldn’t be surprised if Glenn had a writeup before too long.
