| [Tax Money Misuse] $45 Million dollars

Halliburton Co. repeatedly overcharged the government and exhibited “profound systemic problems” under a $1.2 billion contract to restore oil services in Iraq, according to internal government documents released yesterday by one of the company’s fiercest critics.
The documents, cited in a report by the staff of Rep. Henry A. Waxman (D-Calif.), depict government officials’ increasing irritation with Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg Brown and Root Inc. as schedules slid, costs multiplied and the company balked at meeting demands for accurate cost estimates. Ultimately, contract overseers threatened to terminate the company’s contract if it did not improve.
Pentagon auditors have challenged $45 million worth of company costs, out of $365 million in charges that were reviewed.

In one case, the government’s contracting officials reported that KBR attempted to inflate its cost estimates by paying a supplier more than it was due. In another, KBR cut its cost estimates in half after it was pressed on its true expenses. In a third, KBR billed for work performed by the Iraqi oil ministry.
Well, what did you expect from the company that charges the U.S. goverment (and subsequently us taxpayers) twenty-two dollars per ice tray? Outrageous that this company (the Vice President’s favorite) is still getting contracts, bid or no bid from the Administration. This is only the most recent allegations of fraud, which have been coming out since 2003. Full article.
Is Congress loaded on Meth that’s coming from India, Mexico and Texas. The DEA budget and the CIA budget needs to be redistributed to Education because there isn’t a normal person within its ranks. How can you be so crazy and let criminals and murders have an OPEN agenda to the U.S. with this Congress and Administrations blessings. Save on the Budget on policing the world when your own backyard has been destroyed. Slavery is common place here.
This administration is know for being criminals and law breakers. The support of this program is a way for corporate America is bring in new slaves. It cost most immigrants $5,000 or more to get across the board. I know this to be true because American corporations haven’t change their strips…They front the money and system to bring illegals to work for them like sheep. They are forced to live in cattle cars; forced to work 7 days a week; 14 hours or more per day with no benefits or breaks. Their housing is taken out of their wages as well as money’s that’s been fronted to them by these illegal corporations backed for hiring cheap labor. It will take a average illegal 5 to 7 years to break even for the up front money…Our government is back another program of slavery by corporate america. When will we wake up that a fair’s day pay must be paid. While we have a Congress that is make up of slave holders I think “slavery’ is just another role of the Bush administration and all it’s time to STOP. Their illegal activity is BRING IN TERRIORIST AND CRIMINALS LEGALLY at the expense of average americans. I know this is the case because I have seen this work since by American Corporations in Arizona since, 1972. We are not enforcing illegal alient laws because Corporate American has promoted another “slave” system that is sponcered by our Aministration. The guest worker program is another way to accept slavery and get under a wire set to illegrants. This entire Congress has performed as “slave owners” not representatives of the people.
