Contract this!

With the current White House Administration, it feels like we “contract” out everything these days.

They contracted out the job of capturing bin Laden in Afghanistan– instead of letting our troops do it (which led to him getting away), they contracted out the job of repairing the levees in New Orleans to Halliburton– instead of the Army Corps of Engineers (from which they got tremendous profits from), they contracted out the job of feeding our troops to Halliburton– instead of the Army doing it normally (which led to them over-charging 22 dollars for each ice tray, etc), and now they’re contracting out control of U.S. Ports to a Dubai based company (and holding them to looser standards than normal). Noticing a pattern, perhaps?

So should it come as a surprise to anyone that they contracted out some of the unconstitutional NSA domestic wiretapping stuff? It shouldn’t be, but it still is. Bradblog is reporting that the NSA used our tax money to give contracts to private companies to unconstitutionally spy on Americans.

I kinda wish they’d contract out control of the White House to us.
