The Daily Background

You might remember that recently the Bush Administration slashed a heckuva lot of funding for stuff like education , Medicaid and Medicare. You might think that some of that money might be going to make sure every soldier in Iraq is as protected as they need to be. Apparently not. Where is some of that money going instead? To fund foriegn militaries perhaps?

Meanwhile, a soldier’s wife is holding an online bake sale to help troops get the body armor they need.
