An upcoming Abramoff-Fallout preview. This hasn’t really broken yet- but we know it isn’t nothing– and it certainly might be something.

Wonkette read Newsweek, and came up with a gave us a short summary:

Ney lobbied the State Department to sell airplane parts to Iran. Bad enough? Sure. But probably worth adding is his move came after meeting with Nigel Winfield, a three-time convicted felon who once tried to con Elvis. Shortly thereafter, Ney did some gambling with a pal of Winfield’s – a casino player self ID’d as The Fat Man. “Coincidentally” Ney pocketed $34,000 at the casino on a $100 bet, just enough to pay off his $30,000 in credit card debts.

Innnnteresting. I wish I had luck or friends like that. A few days ago, Josh Marshall mused about the possibility of a Ney takedown.

People are taling about Ney. LA Times says the heat is on him, and that Ney might be indicted soon.

Others are more blunt.
